FLL Mass Shooting Anniversary

"I firmly renew my pledge to fight for sensible gun safety laws that can help prevent this senseless loss of life."
U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23) released the following statement on the second anniversary of the tragic mass shooting at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport:

"Two years ago today a mass shooting at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport took five innocent lives and changed our community forever. Tragically, we’ve witnessed too many similar acts of violence like this one repeatedly unfold in communities all over the nation – including our own.

At a time like this, my heart goes out to all those families impacted by this heartbreaking incident, and in our new Democratic House majority, I firmly renew my pledge to fight for sensible gun safety laws that can help prevent this senseless loss of life."
