While touring the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Congressman Neal Dunn got a fist hand look at Hurricane Michael damages. After a tour of the base, the leaders listed damages and discussed the steps needed to move forward.

The base received a lot of damage to buildings as well as laboratories from the storm. Both members of congress said there are very specific and special programs operated at both the Navy Base and Tyndall Air Force Base, and, it is a must to repair these facilities.

"A lot of experimental work is done here, a lot of development of weapon systems is done here, those laboratories were damaged severely so we need to rebuild those in order to continue with our war fighting mission," said Congressmanu Dunn.

"It is extremely important as a delegation we be in a position to advocate for getting everything back up and running and make sure we are 21st century ready for what comes our way," Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz.
